Upland Cress, also known as Land Cress, is a hardy annual that is grown as salad greens. Upland Cress has a mild spicy flavour that adds a peppery kick to salads, stir-fries and soups. Similiar in appearance to watercress but with a deeper pungency. Pick crisp young leaves for a milder flavour and to encourage new growth.
Also grown as a sacrificial plant to attract white moth and their catepillars.
