A  German heirloom from the ‘Filder’ region bred for its long pointed head and thin tender leaves, making it the perfect cabbage variety for making sauerkraut.  Also known as Sauerkraut Cabbage and Giant Cabbage as heads can reach over 7kg. Eat raw, cooked or pickled.
